Kevin Brady-Jones

March 17, 1942 — May 28, 2024

Kevin Patrick Allan Brady-Jones was born March 17, 1942 in the Bronx, New York. He lived a colorful life and had many monikers depicting his personality and interests. Many knew him as “The Boy from New York City,” “Kit”, “Indiana Jones” and “Coyote.” A handsome man, some say
he resembled Clint Eastwood as a young man.

A devout Catholic who attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eugene, he loved many things; collecting coins and vintage fruit crate labels, flying as a solo pilot, riding his Harley in various motorcycle groups into his 60’s, listening to big band, symphony, and reggae music, dancing and singing (as a child, Kevin sang for President Eisenhower ), watching movies, writing, cheering on his home team, the Oregon Ducks in football (where he also attended school), volunteering his time and attention to bring his spirited Irish-salesman personality to the downtrodden, elderly, infirmed, and addicted. But what Kevin loved more than anything was his wife of 57 years, Marjorie. While he was on disability throughout his life off and on, for his epilepsy, a bad back he broke in sports in highschool and many health conditions, she steadfastly worked to make ends meet. Always his help mate, cooking up meals he raved about, offering home baked goods for him to bring to his many friends and acquaintances for any chance to celebrate a birthday or important event in their lives. He was very proud to have her to love him.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Marjorie, his step-daughter Jennifer Baker, daughter Natasha- Jean Brady, son Demian Jones and his 3 brothers Bill, George and Brendan and by a grandson, Brennan and great-grandson, Riley. His parents, sister Irene, and brother Vincent, preceded him in death.

He died peacefully in his home the morning of May 28, 2024, with his loving wife at his bedside. To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Kevin Brady-Jones, please visit our flower store.
