Betty Lou Edwards – Vessel

Betty passed on July 2, 2024 from natural causes. Betty was 95 years old. She leaves behind her husband of 11 years, Melvin Vessel (Eugene)

Preceding her in death in 2009, was her husband of 50 years Jack Edwards. Betty was a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother to all her surviving family, Dean Edwards (Colorado) Dennis Edwards (New Mexico), Richard Adams (Minnesota), David Adams (Oregon), and Kandi Parry (North Carolina)

Betty’s life was dedicated to caring for all her children as well as dedicated to serving the Lord. Her and Jack spent much of her time on missionary trips to France, Philippines and Hawaii just to name a few.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas her family moved out to Biggs, California where she met and married her high school sweetheart Milton Adams (1930-2012). Later in 1961 she married Jackie Edwards (1929-2009)

At Betty’s request there will be no memorial service. If interested she would suggest donations to ywam.org as a remembrance. After Jack’s passing she married Melvin Vessel in 2013.
